I’m Maria! My journey in hair started after I had graduated college in 2020. I had always been drawn to cosmetology, and at that time I was working in makeup retail. Growing up, I was raised in my mom and grandmother’s flower shop, so small business was comfortable to me. After working in different kinds of sales positions, I knew I wanted a more creative job where I could interact with people in a more connected kind of way. I began to think about my hairstylist I had growing up, and felt completely inspired. So when I graduated from NKU, I started at Paul Mitchell! After cosmetology school, I joined the team at Assembly in August of 2021, which still feels totally fated. Assembly has been a gift to me. Our team is value driven, with authenticity, accountability, and education at its core. My experience here has made me grow in ways both professionally and personally that I will always be eternally grateful for! Outside of the salon, you can find me bouncing to different restaurants in Cincy or reading a book!

Michele Hobbs

Michele has been in the salon business since 2006. She specializes in grey coverage, Keratin Complex smoothing treatment, precise hair cutting and blonding, but loves to create any color and cut that will suit the clients signature look.

Michele believes that hair isn’t only about looking and feeling good, it’s an expression of who we are.

She enjoys establishing relationships with her clients. “My clients are my family, a lot of them have been with me from the beginning. It’s a wonderful feeling to have the trust and friendship from clients who believe in you and your talents!”

Michele has a passion to continue learning and growing. Education and latest trends are important to her.

When Michele isn’t working at Assembly, you can find her spending time with her family. She also has a passion for natural health and wellness.
